Candle Wick Trimmer

Caring for your candles is really important and to enjoy them to their fullest, you should trim their wicks regularly. Keeping their wicks trimmed will help them burn fully and last longer. Ideally your candle's wick should be trimmed after every 4 hours of burn time. Let the candle cool to room temperature, then trim the wick to 5mm before relighting. This length helps create complete combustion, which means less soot is formed while the candle is burning.

To use our wick trimmer, place the bottom of the trimmer flush with the candle surface, rock the trimmer back so that its "elbow" rests on the edge of the jar, this keeps the trimmer at a 45-degree angle and helps ensure the cut is to the proper length. Always take care when handling scissors and keep out of reach of children.
